best current east india, 52, and david teas?

Coming from dark teas, I tend to like a more standard everyday tea, but like some of the less floral coconut/pumpkin spice mixes too.

Any suggestions?

Can no longer drink caffeinated tea due to high BP

I don’t know if I’m the right person to answer this question since I’m the one who crafts the teas – but I personally love The Smoking Coconut from 52Teas (since you mentioned coconut teas), the Earl Grey Cider is really good and the Ho-dukk, Ho-dukk Goose tea (which is almost gone) is really good too – those are my current favorite choices in the black tea category.

If you’re looking for green teas – the pumpkin spice latte genmaicha is really tasty as is the Chai Houjicha.

White teas: When Doves Cry is probably my favorite white tea that I’ve ever created.

Edited to add: Oops, I didn’t see the no caffeine thing – sorry!

For the sake of transparency, I should mention that I’m currently employed at DAVIDsTEA so I definitely have some bias, but that said…

Coco Chai Rooibos is nice if you’re looking for coconut and some lighter spice notes; it’s definitely one of the softer Chai blends that DAVIDsTEA carries. It does have a rooibos base, so it’s naturally caffeine free: I don’t know if that matters to you or not.

Cardamom French Toast is another really popular flavoured black tea if you’re looking for something with some spice that isn’t necessarily a Chai blend. Personally, I love this one with some added milk. If added sweeteners/sugars matters to you, though, this one does have rock sugar mixed into the leaf. For some that’s a pro and for others a con.

And Coconut Cream Pie is a really nice, sweet dessert style blend with an oolong base and white chocolate. Really smooth and creamy; though not unlike Cardamom French Toast this one also has sweetener in the dry leaf, although it’s cane sugar not rock sugar.

I’m not sure where you’re geographically located, so I don’t know if you have a physical DAVIDsTEA located near you to conveniently grab samples, but if you’re in Canada/The States they are doing free shipping when you purchase online until Monday (for Black Friday weekend) so now is sort of a good time to pick something up to sample/try if you’re not located near a store…

EDIT: Scratch the last two – just saw that you’re looking for caffeine free options.

Sorry about the no caffeine, that eliminate so much in terms of tea.

I highly suggest looking at Lupcia for rooibos blends and then cold brewing them. Their honeydew one still has one of the best overall ratings for what it is.

Honeybush, rooibos, and herbals are going to be what you’re looking at now. I believe Harney has a caffeine free earl, but I’m too lazy to look

or medium caffeine content at most, maybe green tea. I’ve managed to not boil it like I usually do or steep it for too long.

Also curious David’s vs Adagios etc…can I buy teas from David’s and expect the same tea to be available 3 years from now. I can do this at Teavana
