Just received a fantastic swap box from JustJames! It arrived so fast and I’m very impressed at his prowess at fitting so much tea in such a tidy little package, ha. It’s chock full of luxe French tea I’ve been dying to try—Dammann Freres (!!!!), Mariage Freres, TONS of Nina’s Paris (I’ve never tried them before!), eeeee! And Butiki too, the blueberry purple tea (my first purple tea ever!), Nilgiri Frost Oolong which apparently tastes like ice smells (!), and his precious, coveted custom blend Hello Sweetie. So generous! There’s other highly favored goodies too like Cinnamon Swirl Bread! He even typed out labels with recommended steep times for each sample bag. And there was even a lovely holiday card. :D Thank you JustJames!

We got home super late from our trip last night (after midnight) and the airline didn’t get our bags and carseats moved to our plane so they are still vacationing in Hawaii. I was pretty grumpy when we got home with a car full of exhausted children….

And then I saw 2 things. 1 expected, 1 unexpected. I only opened the unexpected package as I was so curious. yyz sent me a surprise bonus package with even more more tea! I think have a bout 30 teas to try from her. She’s pretty amazing. Totally made my night a million times better.

The second package was my Taiwan Tea Crafts package that I knew would be arriving while we were gone. I opened that this morning as I am absolutely smitten with their Assams and I wanted it for breakfast. In addition to my order was the nicest little note and (big) sample from Philip that said “We like people who like black tea” and they gave me a sample of a new black tea (Formosa Golden Dragon Tippy Black). Such a good way to return home. Love that company!!!!

I have been a little MIA for a few weeks. But in those 2 weeks I have received a few packages. But I am in awe by how generous steepsters are. I recieved a cute thanksgiving card with a tea sample from CelebriTEA.

I received 2 surprise packages specifically. I was not expecting them at all. Purely out of the kindness of their own hearts.
One was from ifjuly full of fauchon, mariage freres, kusmi, lupicia and harney and sons! They came with these cute artys postcards as well! I lovee it and felt so lovee and pampered with many new french teas!

The other was waiting for me Saturday when I came home from thanksgiving. This one was from MissB! It had many sealed DavidsTeas that she specifically picked up for me a few extra samples a book and a brand new DavidsSteeper! What?!?!? I was in awe with her kindness! What did I do to deserve all of this?

My Dammann Frères calendar from www.cadeau-deco-vendome.com. So far I can recommend them. They shipped quickly and the parcel was actually packed in two boxes. Shipping was 8 euro.
