Glass Dharma glass straws- For tea?
I love my white teeth, but I know with time, they will start to yellow with my tea consumption. Anyway, I found these elegant sipper straws made for tea and wine made out of glass and was wondering if anyone’s used these? Is it weird to use with tea? http://www.amazon.com/Glass-Dharma-The-Sipper-Straw/dp/B002NK93G2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1377439208&sr=8-1&keywords=glass+dharma+sipper
Strikes me as something that would be mighty difficult to keep clean on the inside. Personally I wouldn’t like to drink something hot through a straw. (Or wine for that matter)
I have not used those specifically but yes, I do use glass straws with my iced tea. It still feels a little weird to do so with hot tea but most of my tea consumption is iced anyway.
I bought straws from Moxie Glass, mostly because I’m a sucker for cute little animals. Case in point: http://www.theglassstrawstore.com/critter-straws/#!/~/product/category=4730146&id=21564533
I imagine most glass straws are pretty similar products though – and as long as you’re going reusable you really can’t go wrong!
Haha thank you! Too much time internet shopping, really. :)
Angrboda brought up a good point about the cleaning, too – there is a little brush you can get that allows you to wash inside. That and a thorough rinsing has not given me any cleaning problems yet!
I love those as well. Way better than the ones I found. I’m going to buy one of those instead. Thanks!
Those are adorable, but I’d probably be much too lazy to use a straw all the time.
