drank Cancer Tea by Solstice Brews
1719 tasting notes

This is a rooibos blend with caramel and pecan oil. Rooibos, I am not sure I have ever read an adequate description of the taste but once you have had it you know it for life. It is kind of woodsy, spicy, and sweet – kind of. This blend by Solstice Brews is unmistakably rooibos from the first scent. What I find unique is how the caramel and pecan rise up after the initial blast of ‘red tea’ and coat the palate with mellow mmmmm. There is none of that throat grabbing scratchiness that normally follows the sip. The flavors are well crafted, natural, and nicely done. What I wrote on my blog review was I noticed myself pulling the cup away from my lips to look at it and contemplate. This is interesting, different, and I found it quite delicious.
