Coldbrew Sipdown (318/300)
Yay!! We’re down to 300 teas. But I’m sad to see it go. It takes me back to my childhood in Michigan where my mom had a grapevine and in the summer we’d have tons of grapes and grape juice and wonderfulness. I love this tea, but it was time for it to leave us…goodbye, beloved tea!!!
Coldbrew sipdown (319/301)
My migraine is finally starting ease so I’ve moved on to my next coldbrewed tea. This tastes vaguely familiar. Like I’ve had it a million times before. Because it is. There’s really nothing special about this.
I’m falling out of love with rooibos teas, because they’re all muddling together for me. Sad.
Coldbrew and this is amazing. It’s light and refreshing and tastes like fresh concord grapes. Not overwhelmingly so, but that’s the flavor I’m walking away with and it’s so good. Concord grapes warm from the sun, grassy summer in every sip. I want to do a sipdown of this because it would be easy, but I also want to hoard it forever.
But it’s 2 years old, so sipdown it is.
Coldbrew sipdown (321/303)
We bid a sad farewell to our dear friend Eric Northman. He served us well and even introduced my wifey to a like of coldbrewed black teas. But alas, it is time for him to go meet the sun. Perhaps he will see Godric on the other side and be happy for it.
Sipdown (322/304)
I was sad that I hadn’t accomplished any sipdowns today, so when I ran out of coldbrews, I made two cups of this one.
It was…okay. Just okay. The first cup I only doctored with sugar and while I got some vanilla, I mostly got astringent black tea. The second cup, I added a splash of milk hoping to up the creaminess and round off the bite, but instead it just weakened it. I’ve got too many other vanilla blacks to waste my time with a reorder of this.
