I remembered seeing this brands beautiful box art in the UK, likely in a supermarket. And then I recently saw some in the US discount store Ollies. I bought several as the price point was good, and found that they were rather weak and unnoteworthy. I was about to toss even the untried ones in the trash when I decided this was an unusual enough combo, I’d give it a try. That and I need some more tea I can drink in the evening. I like it pretty well for that purpose and will keep this one. I’d recommend it for such a purpose or those who like the flavors listed. Mostly the fennel aspect predominates. Can’t taste the cardamom.
Having read other things on the web I’ll try a 5 minute steep next time and water less than boiling perhaps?
I’ve read that the company was bought out years ago and has gone down hill. I have no idea. I’ve also read that their bags are often injured and fall open. None of this is good news. I’ll be doing well if I get through this box of 20.
