This may be the only tea I get to rate for a while—it’s in my mom’s kitchen, and because of the F4 tornado in Southwest Missouri, my collection … uh … may be steeping the entire Missippi River.
What really matters, is we are safe because of miracles. God’s protection is amazing. The first person to meet us at the door of the hotel where we refugeed said, “Would you like a cup of tea?”

This has a stronger smell and taste than I’ve come to expect from Bigelow’s bagged teas, a pleasant surprise! (Of course, I tend to dislike Bigelow.) It reminds me a bit of nuts or rice, and perhaps because of that drinking it feels very filling.
Surprisingly this is still one of my favorite green teas. I like its smooth light flavor. I definitely think this is a good brand to use to introduce loved ones to green tea. I have actually decided to use this brand to introduce my parents to green tea. Also the best part about Bigelow teas is that they are sold by Whole Foods and Wal-Mart! Which means that you are getting a higher quality tea for a very affordable price!!!
This isn’t a high end tea, but it delivers an enjoyable cup that I can only describe as creamy in taste. It’s very smooth and not bitter at all. It’s also well packaged for a bagged tea. There are 4 bags in a resealable pouch so it stays fresh. It’s great when I want a little pick-me-up at work.
BACKLOG: Made this in my starbucks teapot yesterday as a got-most-of-the-stuff-moved-into-our-new-house-lets-relax-now treat. It was delicious albeit somewhat weak despite using two bags and not a full pot of water. I remember buying a big box of 4packs of this in 2013 to drink at work and enjoying it regularly. I think I just found the last 4 pack. Nothing distinctly remarkable but not bad.

I purchased a case of 150 packets from BJ’s a few weeks ago. I drink this tea every morning. I combine it with one bag of peppermint tea and a healthy amount of honey. Delicious and full of antioxidants!

I always appreciate that coffee makers are standard in hotel rooms so I can make my tea, even if it does take a few passes to get the coffee flavor out. :)
