This one is very nice when you are sick! It’s juicy and the bright pinkyred color is cheerful. Very happy to have bagged herbals around to stay hydrated (normally I drink tons of plain water but I can’t stand the taste of it when I’m sick). I’m also really glad I took home my Breville kettle from work for my break – water boils in a snap!

Ummm, sweet would be the word for this one! Ok upon first few sips when it’s hot, but it really just gets to be too much. Never would have chosen this myself- Mom got for me and had it at her house. Now I’ve made it iced in an effort to get rid of it. Better iced, but still not my favorite.

Angrboda

I keep reading that as pomegranate pizza… O.o

teaplz

I read it as Pomegranate Pizza about 4x before I actually got it. And I kept thinking, EWWWW.

rabbysmom

On a scale from 1 to bad… this tea is worse than Lipton. Where was the pomegranate flavor? More than likely it was lost in the orange and banana flavorings this tea tried to pass off as “Pizzaz”. This is like drinking a bad, watered-down girlie drink. Ugh.

Just was grocery shopping and saw this assortment pack of Bigelow Tea. I don’t really like Bigelow but it was between that and Tazo which I’ve never been a fan of. Bigelow is what I used to always drink when I didn’t know any better, so it’s also rather familiar to me. Anyway I got it and decided to try Pomegranate Pizzaz first, mostly because of its name. It doesn’t do much for me, it tastes almost exactly like other berry teas I have tried by Bigelow. It doesn’t stand out to me, but it’s good, it doesn’t taste bad. I don’t know why but for some reason with most berry teas I feel like I’m drinking hot juice. It just doesn’t feel like tea. The aroma is fantastic and layered, but the flavor contradicts the smell. It tastes just like berries, not even distinctly like pomegranate. I guess if you like berry teas try this, but I would much rather be drinking Chamomile, Peppermint, Earl Grey or English Afternoon right now.

I liked this tea. I know there are a lot of others who are not very fond of this tea, but if you like fruity teas you will probably like this tea. I tried it hot and I enjoyed the taste and as it cooled I think I liked it even more. Next time I get ahold of a bag of this, I will make it as an iced tea. It will be great during those hot summer months.

Glad this was a sample. I do not find this a tea that I would want to buy. I feel like I need a mint after drinking this tea.

Steeped for a little over 5 minutes, with near boiling water, in a 10oz tea for one pot yielding two cups.

I personally liked this. Compared with something like Bigelow Pomegranate Green Tea it’s apparent that the flavor is not true pomegranate but more like a fruit tea that happens to be geared towards the tart fruit side of the spectrum.

The smell offers a bright bouquet of fresh berries, taste is delightful and rich with no bitterness even with the use of hibiscus for balance. The tea itself is a deep red, and the overall feel really struck a chord with me.
For someone who really enjoys dark, malty, or strong black teas I surprised myself with this one.

It hearkened back to a simpler time where my mom would offer tea with fresh fruit, or homemade cookies after dinner. Being a young male I would always associate this tea time with a doll house tea party, beneath the vigor of chaos that boys cloak themselves in at a young and exploratory age.
Now I realize, however, that the reprieve after a long day is embodied in a tea like this. Non-caffeinated so you can still rest easy, as my mother originally intended.

Yes, the first ingredient listed is apple which is apparent on the nose. In my opinion though this allows for a base for all the fruit/flower tastes to merge within, exciting the palate to a familiar taste instead of leaving things lacking with only one note to diffuse through.
This is a well-rounded tea, even if it misses the product mark a little bit.

Pomegranate? Only some. Pizzazz? Certainly.

I would keep this stocked for a nighttime treat, it’s just that good.

Ugh. I hate staying at my parents house. It interrupts my rouTEAne (Tea Routine). I ran out of my Citrus Green that I brought and all I have left is “Gypsy Cold Cure” which is medicinal. Anyway, to the parents cupboard I went and dug out a single bag of THIS.

It’s wrapped but I have no idea how old it is. Likely at least 5 years out of date. But I need something to drink so this gets the go.

Prepared with boiling stove water for 4 minutes. I have no idea how big the mug is though but I used one teabag.

Taste is… Ok, I don’t recall seeing BANANA as part of the name but boy is there a strong banana flavor. I’m getting a teeny tiny bit of pom here, but mostly just generic “tart” flavor without any real distinguishing characteristics. I’m also getting another fruit. Cherry maybe? It’s sweet, I’ll give it that. It’s actually not as bad as I was expecting. That doesn’t mean it’s good, just that it is drinkable. That banana flavor is distracting though and doesn’t fit the rest of the profile. This tea is trying to be too many flavors at once and none are really shining through very clearly. It’s like “Muddy Fruit: The Tea”. Oh well. If I don’t get fully sick soon, I can head home for next week and get actual decent tea on Monday. In the meantime, send me good tea vibes yinz, for I am sorely lacking them.

Nice but just not the kick I was hoping for.
I was expecting more Pizzazz to it than there is. Tastes to me like dull Pomegranate
