From Biscuit and Brew Tea House (formerly Arthur Dove Tea Co.)

From the Arthur Dove site:

Sometimes it matters whether you’re a pudding or a tart, but which is the better Bakewell? Give over, you know it doesn’t matter, but especially so when it comes to this seductive cherry amaretto black tea blend. With a hot, steamy kiss that is utterly impossible to resist, there really is no better blend to pop your cherry to.

Ingredients
Sri Lankan Black Tea, Apple Pieces, Rosehip, Hibiscus, Almond Pieces, Freeze-dried Cranberry, Orange Peel, Freeze-dried Cherry, Natural Flavouring

Pulled from TTB 2022, shared by Dustin.

Trying this once more, this time hot with honey and cream. I was a little hesitant to add dairy because of the hibiscus, but the package said to drink with or without milk so I took a chance. It was better with the cream, the cherry flavor came out more for me this way. It was fine without, maybe a little light, but the creaminess bumped up the flavor. It’s still not one I need to have in my cupboard though, so I’ll pass it along for others to try.

Is this really only the second time I have had a cup of this in 9 months? It’s a tart cherry for sure, but if I don’t sip frequently I get an earthy alkaline taste that is distracting. Is it the hibiscus? I really want to love this, but I have too many teas to work on building a relationship with this one.

This is a nice cup of tea. I’ve had a few cherry flavored teas and this one has a nice balance of cherry and almond. Amaretto, for sure, but also this kind of nice gooeyness, like a slice of good apple pie. Also some creaminess too, or I might be imagining that. This is my first tea from Arthur Dove and I was absolutely delighted by it. As was the hubby who is not usually fond of cherry flavors — I opened the three bags we’d gotten and let him choose and he chose this one. And he went for a second cup too. Ah, yes, made for a two nice second cups off the same steeper load. So there’s that.

This one sounds delicious. I love Amaretto and anything with that kind of flavoring.
