Description

Shi Feng Long Jing DragonWell
Origin: Xi Hu , Zhe Jiang Province
Area: Shi Feng Shan
Harvest: First spring harvest in 2013 ( Ming Qian )
Altitude: 180-200 meters above sea level
Tea Type: Long Jing
Grade: A
Brewing tips: If you brew your Chinese tea in a gaiwan, always leave a little bit of liquid in the gaiwan between each infusion.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry and dark place. Seal the bag well and keep optionally in the freezer stored for longer periods of time. Keep the needed tea at room temperature.
Appearance: The dried tea leaves have long, thin leaves with dark brown, yellow and green hues, the traditional “Cao Mi (brown rice) Color” of Long Jing tea. The “Yu Ye (fish -shaped leaves)” indicate the first harvest of the year. The smell of the dry leaves is a combination of sweet roasted green beans and fresh roasted peanut flavor complemented with a tiny hint of anise. The wet leaves give the same sweet smell of green beans, but sweeter complemented by a subtle steamed asparagus flavor.
The tea has a pale green color and excellent clarity. The tea has a nutty flavor, followed by a refreshing vegetable flowery taste.
