From Tea Masters

Cultivar: Qinxin Dapang
Harvested by hand on June 2013
Origin: Hsin Chu, Taiwan
Process: Jassid bitten buds, high oxidized, in stripes and lightly roasted.

After selecting a modern, scent oriented, Oriental Beauty from 2014, I also wanted to propose a more traditional Oriental Beauty, similar to what I have been offering these last 3 years. These leaves are smaller and processed in a more labor intensive, traditional way. The roasting/drying is also is also deeper. That’s why the leaves are suitable for aging and it’s not a problem that they are from 2013. On the contrary! Taste: the tea has clean and mellow taste and long aftertaste. There is also a sour note that can appear when the tea is brewed too long. Don’t overbrew.
