I found a neighbor who is into tea!!!!!! We’ve swapped a few teas and drank some tea this afternoon out on my screened porch and watched the wildlife out on the pond. It was truly a wonderful day.
The tea was an interring mix of curled up leaves, dried seeds(?) or berries, fluffy stuff that I can’t think how to describe. It has an unexpectedly vegetal scent. Maybe I should get out a thesaurus. The web site does not say what is in the tea.

I followed the directions my friend gave me. It seemed like a short steep for an herbal. It has a vegetal taste and virtually no berry taste (to me, but I have a slightly stuffed up nose due to allergies). There is no predominant flavor. Actually there is very little flavor at all.

The company is an herb farm in Illinois . It looks like it has a lot of nice herbs, teas and products. It’s very much a mom and pop type place.
I feel bad that that I don’t like the tea, as I would prefer to give them a high rating. I always want to support small businesses. I’d like to try some of their other things but I don’t know…. It’s only about an hour away. Maybe my friend and I will have an outing so I can try some more of their products.

Preparation
Boiling 4 min, 0 sec 3 tsp 16 OZ / 473 ML
Cheri

Maybe try a longer infusion time? And sometimes berry teas need a touch of sugar for the flavor to pop for me.
