The Planets Have Aligned

Just yesterday, a cargo box arrived from my sister in the US. Inside this box sits a lot of stuff, for both my family and her in-laws. For me, personally, it contains some books I ordered off Amazon, as well as a six-pack of TWS6 tea tins that I’d ordered from specialtybottle.com almost two years ago.

Just last night, my mom returned home from a medical conference in Hong Kong. I’d originally requested her to get one tea from the Ming Cha teahouse at about 100g, but against my judgement, she had instead opted for three different teas at 38 grams each. They also gave her two sample sachets of their classier offerings for her trouble.

Lastly, I just ordered a shipment of First Flush Puttabong from Darjeeling Tea Boutique. It should arrive within a couple of months.

As you might imagine, the timing couldn’t be more perfect. These teas are going straight into those canisters. Expect my tasting notes on Phoenix Classic, Green Oolong, and Yunnan Tippy Pu-Erh soon.

So excited to try them out. :3
