Tea discussion on NCIS!
So did anyone else notice the discussion Gibbs and Ducky had on NCIS (May 1 episode)?
Very funny (I think I could have written it)! Gibbs was drinking tea and offered some to Ducky. Ducky (looking askance) said, “You’re not drinking tea, you’re drinking dust! Real tea is from leaves, not bags!” (or something like that).
The next day Gibbs found a bag of loose leaf tea and a little tea pot on his desk!

Hetty on NCIS LA is always drinking tea, with a fancy teapot etc. I don’t recall seeing her fill it with loose leaf, but it must be, right?
Hetty drinks loose. This week it was Wuyi from the mountains in China. She offered some to Deeks who said he preferred his tea in a bottle flavor sealed in America.
Yes she has filled it with loose leaf trying to get G (Chris O’Donnell) to enjoy the tea experience. I think it was a Russian Caravan tea from a tin. So anyway, he tastes it and says, “Hetty, this is horrible!” She tries some and says its good, then after he leaves, Hetty says, " Ewww, this tea is rancid!"
On Person of Interest – John – purchased from a street vendor a cup of tea marked Sencha Green.

Talbott Teas on Shark Tank
I’m not sure how I missed that, but it was announced in a more recent show (hey, I’m behind), that they were just recently sold to Jamba Juice.
p.s. They were discussing price points and profits and other insider info, while trying to get one of the “Sharks” to invest. Might be of interest to their competition, future blenders etc : )
I haven’t tried Talbott Teas, but the reviews have been somewhat mixed. Are they really worthy of being at the high end of the pricing (like they think they are?).
So I’m watching Harry’s Law now, and the episode is about a Tea Shop owner!!! mind you he is/was an art thief but hey also, quite charming! He recommends the White Chai Ayurvedic, props for that! and the tea cups are soooo purty _*sighs*

LOL I get those to!! on this computer. Somehow they are blocked on our desktop. Ah well, I’m not in the market for a Russian Bride anyhow…
And this show, it’s the perfect balance of mindless and intellectual stimulation with a side of drama :)
(now I’m an extra big fan after the tea episode!)
I run no script just to stop programs from running with out my permission. Now it can be a pain if you don’t want to wade through what you’d like to run when opening a web page.
me to, but I’ve been too lazy to install it since this computer is “borrowed” and I feel awkward donwloading stuff since it’s not really mine lol
