Giving a description when adding a new tea

I guess this question was probably asked before, but I tried several searches and got either 3-4 pages of unrelated results, or so many results it probably would have taken days to go through all of them.
Finding the button that let me add a tea wasn’t hard, but now I’m not sure if I did it right, and I realized that if I didn’t, I can’t change it either, since apparently my account has to be a month old before I can edit any teas, even though adding one worked fine.

So, for the future: Am I supposed to just copy the description from the vendors website, or write my own? Also, what about the picture, where do those usually come from?

I enter whatever info the company offers, either from their site or from the label on the tea itself. As for the pic, I take that from the site too unless there isn’t one in which case I leave it empty. (My camera never seems to take good tea shots).

If there is no english description, I guess it would be a good idea to give a translation, then – but what if there is an english description, but i can’t access it?

If I can’t grab or find a vendors description/picture I generally leave it blank.
