6 Tasting Notes

Black Dragon Pearl from Teavana
69

While I don’t care for their marketing, the tea itself is quite good. I could tell they were not used to customers who want black tea with no flavorings with it.

Good leaves, lots of nice flavor. An excellent tea for work as the pearls make it easy to dish out into my steeping mug.

Vanilla Black from Rishi Tea

I feel wrapped in vanilla, a very good vanilla. The tea is there, but as an understatement. I added my normal amount of sweetening, but that made it overwhelmingly sweet. Now I want to go and bake some cookies.

East Frisian from Harney & Sons

Indian Nimbu from Harney & Sons

One of my current favorite teas. Hints of caramel and lemon. I tend to enjoy this later in the week in anticipation of the weekend.

Eight at the Fort from Harney & Sons

Brewed it too hot this time and it came out bitter.

East Frisian from Harney & Sons

This is my go-to tea for a tired Monday morning. Assertive enough to wake me up and to get going.
