This is a fromagerie shop nestled in Concord’s main square that is deceptively large and diverse in its offerings: Fresh, and baked (daily) bread (Polish Rye bread, baguettes, Seven Grains, and Italian loaves), candies, jams, crackers, wines and prepared foods; as well as a great selection of teas.
On my visit there they were promoting Tea Forte’s teas; and had a table set up for sampling their teas. Their tea shelves contained many varieties of tins or packaged teas: Ahmad, Tetley, Tea Forte, Harney and Sons, Twinning teas Stevens and Smith Teamakers and PG tips teas just to name a few.
It is an incredible place and on most busy days one can note people waiting in queue to have a sandwich made or prepared food. It is a cheese shop that sells teas as well as other local goodies.
I would like to visit them, yet, again and again.
Year two visit to The Concord Cheese Shop
I spent the day in Concord, MA and I visited this Cheese Shop once again, as I am their friends on Facebook and I bother them repeatedly about ordering from their posted menus but I cannot get there for the orders. It is a wish list of ordering; I think this annoys them somehow. So I dared show my mug shot in their store. The store was very busy with folks with tickets ordering sandwiches, cheese, wines etc. I walked past all of this to view their teas and I found that they had several newly teas and this time they were not having tea sampling as they did last year with (Tea Forte tea display with samplings of their teas); they did have new boxes of tea for Tea Forte. I remember reading article at the beginning of this year that Tea Forte had been sold; so the new packaging that I noticed might be part of this deal. Don’t quote me on this.
I saw some Rooibos Teas that I considered purchasing but the husband thought that I had too many teas at home; so I did not buy anything. Dum! I did take photos of the tea shelves, some not very good photos since I was nervous being there. I like the folks at Concord Cheese Shop; they seem real and genuine.
