高山烏龍茶一定要種植於海拔1400公尺至1800公尺之間
太低海拔烏龍茶不適製成輕發酵茶.要製成輕發酵茶,種茶區域一定要壓縮在年平均溫度15度C至25度C之間
太高海拔會破害台灣山林且茶的滋味會較淡.1800公尺以下是專家教建議種茶的最上限所以在阿里山您只能找到1800公尺以下的茶那也是阿里山依舊保持原始及迷人之處.
高山烏龍是軟枝青心烏龍種植而成,種植於頂石桌,樂野村海拔1400公尺以上.烏龍茶茶枝較改良品種較硬故其茶梗於揉捻完成時會比改良後品種較為明顯但是苦味呈現較其他品種低所以她有點醜但是很溫柔
