From Grey's Teas

Ti Kuan Yin, Iron Goddess of Mercy, appeared in a dream to a devout farmer instructing him to look in a cave for a treasure which he should both take good care of and share. On finding a tiny tea sprout, he planted it and in due course produced an unusually fragrant and flavourful tea. This famous, top notch China oolong brews a sweetly fragrant, silky textured cup of tea which goes extremely well with even strongly flavoured foods.

For the first time in weeks I have got a few hours spare to tidy my room, listen to some music I have bought recently (ska music today) and drink my way through a pot or so of tea. You can’t go wrong with this tea. I left it brewing far longer than I normally would, and it still tastes wonderful. I love afternoons like this, in their understated way

It was a very fragrant, like orchid and honey. The color was a pretty light green and the taste was light and fragrant, slightly bitter taste. The aftertaste, in my experience, becomes sweets, and lasted for quite a while, very pleasant!

Been a while since I’ve had this but remember it as a very fine oolong. Delicate but complex.
