My laziness makes me make some wonderful experiments at time. This time i was lazy to heath up the already mildish water left after puehr.
So what i did is – i put one teaspoon of this oolong and like 7 or so leaves of that silver needle i bought big stash of. Both teas are just ok to me. Drinkable. And i was lazy to warm up the water – which i had just like a cup left.
So 1 teaspoon of oolong, one teaspoon of not so great silver needle in little over a cup of mild water for like 4 minutes or so. Its so tasty. Very gentle and light but omg yum. Like a very good white tea. Love it! Way to make one great tea from 2 teas that are just OK. I’ll be doing this again ;)
I love drinking plain green oolong in the afternoon. After 2 fruity herbal teas this morning it’s even better. I might break my tea record today :D
today i tasted in this oolong something like that thing i love about silver needle. not as full but it reminded me of it. that def gives it a slightly higher rating than b4…
been drinking it all day long. its a type of tea that you don’t get tired of that easily…
hmmm i’m not really liking it much today.
i got my ingenuitea pot delivered from UK today :) had to celebrate that with few cups of some nice loose tea. i was in the mood for oolong.
first of all the cup. its made from some kind of plastic but looks really firm. seams unbreakable. its quite thick and keeps warmth perfectly. i spilled some water around the place till i figured how exactly it works. but i love it.
basically if its on a flat surface it wont spill (don’t use the bed its bumpy enough to let some water/tea out use the stand). as soon as you put it on a glass the glass pushes the bottom part which opens the valve and tea starts pouring down. simple.
filter keeps all the little pieces of loose tea in the pot. you get crystal clear tea out of it. once u pour the water in the cups tea leaves remain inside wet but the pot still keeps all the flawors in.
the second steep was just as strong and tasty as the first one. that will lift my tea rating a bit. i like oolong because it tastes so simple and always quite alike.
