From Taylors of Harrogate

Zingy, fragrant and spiced – this warming infusion of sweet citrus is spiked with the kick of ginger. We blend the softly tangy flavour of mandarin with zesty orange peel and ginger root, for a rush of invigorating refreshment.

Ingredients: White hibiscus, hibiscus, lemongrass, apple, natural flavouring, sweet blackberry leaves, blackcurrant leaves, orange peels (3%), liquorice root, natural mandarin flavouring (2%), natural ginger flavouring (2%), red poppy flowers.

Cold steep! Two bags for 16 ounces of water, steeped overnight.

This came out a bit weaker than yesterday’s rhubarb. It’s also quite tart from the hibiscus, so I added a bit of sugar. The sweetener definitely helped to balance it, and even make it taste less weak somehow. Now I can taste juicy mandarin paired with subtle but noticeable ginger notes. Thankfully I don’t notice the alternative sweeteners here (blackberry leaf, licorice root), there’s no cloying aftertaste.

It’s nice, and quite refreshing. So far, would consider getting a sampler of these again, for cold steeping purposes.

Ugh! Hibiscus heaven here. I saw this at a local discount store and it sounded so good. Did I not notice that the first two ingredients were hibiscus??? I made a cup last night and drank to swallows before I poured it down the drain.

If you love hibiscus you would love this tea. I did not taste orange . I did not taste ginger.
