Removable Rubber Bumper for Stability & Protection
My Weigh added a genius, rubber bumper that does a great job of protecting the scale and keeping it stable while you’re trying to weigh. You can even remove the non-slip rubber grip if you need to clean it or just don’t want to use it.

Advanced Digital Weighing Technology™
The DuraScale D2 300 was built with true, 10,000 division German HBM weighing sensors. This Advanced Digital Weighing Technology is going to give you the most accurate weight readings.

It Has WeighMeter™ Technology!
If ya put too much weight, (more than the capacity of the scale) on any scale it can cause permanent damage. Unfortunately, most scales warn ya of an overload after it’s too late. Luckily this Dura Scale D2 comes with WeighMeter Technology to tell ya when you’re coming close to the maximum capacity. This will save ya from overloading your scale and damaging it beyond repair.

Man, This Thing Is Tiny!
You won’t have to worry about this scale taking up space. It’s just under five inches long, and less than an inch thick! You can take this scale pretty much anywhere ya want…stick it in a pack, purse, or in your shirt pocket.

Bright Backlit Display
This digital scale has a fancy, red, backlit display to help ya see your weight readings, even in dim lighting.

Easy Calibration
The DuraScale D2 pocket scale comes factory calibrated and ready to use. Just in case ya need to calibrate it, the D2-300 comes with easy to follow calibration instructions. You’ll just need to pick up one 200 gram calibration weights to get the job done.

The Protective Cover Does Double Duty!
his tiny scale’s hard protective cover is great for keeping your scale safe when ya aren’t using it…and it doubles as a nice weighing tray. Since it has edges, you can weigh all kinds of things that would normally fall right off the platform.

Stainless Steel Platform
The DuraScale D2 300 has a durable stainless steel weighing platform to make cleanup a breeze. Stainless steel is great because it doesn’t scratch easily and keeps its shine without rusting or tarnishing.

Tare Feature
The tare button on the front of the Dura Scale can be pressed to “zero out” the weight on the scale. You can then add more weight, and the display will only show the weight of the items you’re adding. This sure is useful when ya want to use the cover as a weighing tray to weigh your things, or if ya want to get separate weights of multiple items.

It Remembers The Last Unit Ya Used
If your application needs weights in the same unit of measurement, (like ounces for instance), it can be a real pain if your scale always turns on ready to weigh in grams. It’s a good thing the DuraScale D2 300 turns on displaying the unit of measurement you were using when ya turned it off.

Auto-Off Feature
If ya have ever had the batteries in something run out because you forgot to turn it off, you’ll realize what a blessing this feature is. The DuraScale D2 300 will automatically turn off after about a minute of inactivity, saving battery power and money.

30 YEAR MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY!
If ya ever have a problem with this DuraScale pocket scale, just send it to My Weigh’s warranty center in Phoenix, Arizona. They’ll fix it or replace it, and send it on its way back to ya within two working days.

I purchased the MW Durascale D2 660 with German HBM weighing sensors nearly 6 weeks ago and have been very pleased with it! :D As soon as I unpacked it I could easily appreciate that it was very well-constructed and quality-oriented. I was amazed how much it weighed especially for its small size.

The two pre-purchase concerns I had turned out to not be an issue at all:

1. Auto-off battery-saving feature: The auto-off provides sufficient time to weigh loose tea especially if you gather everything you’ll need first before turning on the scale. After 60 seconds of inactivity it will turn off. If you need additional time, a light tap on the scale resets the inactivity timer for another 60 seconds.

2. Weighing larger items: Simply remove the scale cover and flip it over to use it as a weighing tray. Tare the weight of the tray. Then one can easily position a 1-Lb bulk tea package on top of the lip of the tray to accurately weigh it.

This pocket-sized digital scale is easily stored in a kitchen drawer, which keeps it dust-free and reduces clutter on the kitchen counter unlike larger kitchen scales. I couldn’t be happier with our new scale. :D

Butiki Teas

I love this scale. I use it for sampling tea all the time. I’m using it right now. Very convenient.

looseTman

Agreed! It’s a much more accurate way to measure compared with teaspoons and it really helps one to have a consistently good cup of tea to enjoy!

Butiki Teas

Absolutely. I’m comparing about 40 2nd Flush Darjeelings right now (late to the game, I know but I was not planning on ordering more 2nd flushes though I have just changed my mind) and I much prefer the weight measurement since they vary in size quite a bit.

I need to get one. I used to have one and I managed to drop it while moving into my apartment. I’ve managed but sometimes you just want to know how much tea you are using.

looseTman

Agreed. This new model has a rubber bumper around the sides to help protect it – a good idea for a portable-type pocket scale.

JC

Good to know. I’ve been meaning to compare two teas and I haven’t because I don’t want to have extra ‘variables’, since they are supposed to be the same tea.
