You don’t have to be from Canada to love this wonderful maple sugar tea, eh? A rich black tea blend flavored with authentic maple syrup. Just enough sweetness to hit the spot and best with milk. Enjoy it day or night.

Advent day 4! So.much.maple. I could smell the rich maple goodness through the bag. But, it’s not the off-putting cat pee type maple, it’s more of a decadent maple dessert. There’s definitely a bit of cinnamon coming through the maple as well, which is making it more well-rounded.

I’ve been in search of good maple teas for the past year, so I had to try this one. I bought it during the Black Friday sale and am only just not trying it. The teas come in ziplock pouches, and unfortunately, I noticed that this one wasn’t actually sealed all the way. I never opened it, so it must have arrived that way in November. That’s not encouraging. I’m sadly not getting any maple flavor. All I taste are the spices, but the combination reminds me of a particular Adagio chai tea that I dislike. It’s just not a pleasant combo of spices for my tastes. I guess I won’t leave a rating in case the mapleness escaped through the unsealed package, but I’m not too pleased with my experience with this one. The flavors are strong, they’re just not accurate and not for me.

tea-sipper

Yeah, this one is usually much tastier. It must be the packaging?

Oh no! I’m always so careful to store my tea properly, so it’s frustrating to discover something like this.

Here’s Hoping Traveling Teabox – Round #5 – Tea #7
Another tea company I haven’t tried before! I’ve been drinking tea for years and it’s amazing that there are so many teas out there. Even though some shops might repackage teas from other companies. This one is just labeled Canadian Maple, but I searched for that and I saw that the picture of the Angry Teabag was the same. :D Why is the teabag so mad?! But whoa is the maple accurate. This tea is sweet sweet maple syrup on a medium black tea base (that actually looks like it could be maple syrup.) I’m not sure where the cocoa comes in, since I’m not tasting it. I’d rather this just be maple anyway. Another tea shop that looks like it has some interesting blends (caramel popcorn movie night, candy cane, some pumpkin blends). And this is the ONLY one on Steepster. sigh.

I LOVE maple flavors.

You inspired me to look at their site and they do have a lot of yummy looking dessert blends. Maybe they are a new company?

I think I’ve heard OF Angry Tea Company for a while now, so I don’t think they are extremely new…
