wow i feel like i havent been on in forever :( it makes me sad. school has taken over and shot my internet useage down alot due to alot of studieing. i missed everyone! and have tried SOOOO many teas! because i cant remember them all im starting with this one as i am drinking it now :D

the scent is VERY fruity, you can pick up the strawberry right away and something tangier im thinking its the cherry. if this didnt have the white tea as the base i dont think id like it as much because even though theres alot of fruity bits in there you can still taste the delicate flavor of the white tea. its a very pretty pink color something id want to use a clear cup/mug with to show it off. the re-steep isnt as fruity but sweeter (same temp H2O 4 min steep)

im glad i got this, i had gotten a gift card from a good friend who loves tea as much if not more than me :) so i went a bit crazy lolzz and this tin was packed full and 50% off (originally 36$ got it for 18$) so i hope i can keep up on here like i was b4 now that ive gotten the hang of my classes.

Hallos! Welcome back! Sort of? Now I think you have to tell us how the teavana staff were behaving, seems no one likes em!

Kitch3ntools

lol thnx :D
they were reallllly nice, there were only 2 in there and the whole snow storm think kinda made it so the mall was dead. the floor guy was helping another customer who was very new to tea and suggested to the guy that “maybe just a small bag is what you’ll need” so deff not pushing sales at all. the girl was nice and kinda airheaded lol. she gave us a to go cup of tea for free which was cool. and she didnt push me at all to get alot of tea :) it was actually a really good experience the only thing i didnt like is that all the teas were behind the service desk so if u wanted something specific youd have to ask for it and my eyes (even with my contacts in) are terrible so i couldnt browse. luckily i have their ipod touch/iphone app so i had picked out some things on there i wanted to try.

Soooo…. where are the pictures?

Kitch3ntools

lol well we didnt develop them thats next class. i ave an extra roll of film (it was a 2 pack) so i may take more pictures just so i can develop 2 rolls at a time :) im a photo n00b all i know is that my 2 digitals take decent pix (my older one takes better ones but is really big)

Ricky

Ohhhh black and white film?

Kitch3ntools

we will be using B&W for the rest of the class but he wanted us to fill up a roll of color with 1 subject. i tried to think of 1 thing that had enough depth that i could take 36 pictures of…i settled on my fish tank lol my next roll i may go outside and do the trees with snow on um :)

Ricky

Ohhhh, I’ve never done color film. Black and white was fun, but digital is so much easier =P

its too fruity for an artichoke. i was a bit disappointed with this one because i am an artichoke fiend! i only get fruity from this. maybe if i steep it longer i can get more of an artichoke flavor out of it… it smells faintly like marinate artichokes thought so ill give it that. i sure hope the toasted sesame lives up to its name

i will be trying this one again to see if i can try to get that veggie artichoke flavor

I’ve found steeping 4.5tsp in 6oz water heated to 160 for 1.5min provides a much more savory cuppa. Hope that helps!

this tea is nice and light for a black, but that may be from my 3 min rather than 5 min steep. it has a buttery note its a great breakfast tea :)

Love betta fish!! I relaly want another one. We haven’t had one around the house for about a year.

A male betta (or Siamese Fighting Fish as the species was oh so dramatically called) was my first pet when I was small. Are you getting a male aswell or just females?

Kitch3ntools

i already have 2 males (in separate tanks) and now 4 females :) there was 1 other male that i liked alot at petco but we were on a mission for ladys :p ive already introduced them to the tank and 2 are trying to assert dominance but the larger one backs off last minute. they are very fun fish! my 2 males have completely different personalities and already 1 female when i look in to check on them will swim over to my face and get in my line of sight :)

Jillian

So are you trying to breed them?

Kitch3ntools

no, ive tried b4 years ago. i had a successful spawn but went to school 1 day came home and all the fry had gotten a fungus because the father was not taking care of them. i tried to salvage them but sadly they all ended up dieing. i think breeding will be eventually in the future, far in the future (my fiance is interested in doing it, we start school this week and cannot afford to be away for too long in case spawning happen) i wanted a comunity tank and i wanted more bettas lol. i didnt know how many i needed to keep the peace which was y i did so much reading.
