This is seriously yummy! The peach is so sweet and juicy tasting, and the raspberry adds just the right tart touch to the cup. There is a creaminess that weaves its way throughout the sip, and the nutty flavor of the honeybush and rooibos … really just works so well with this… and gives it a very dessert-y kind of taste.

Really good.

Liberteas Thank YOU!

This is a sturdy blend of multiple black teas. I didn’t find it smooth like Liberteas did but I found it strong and a bit crusty with tad of smokiness to it. But first and foremost bold! I like it!

drank Eggnog by Trail Lodge Tea
4843 tasting notes

This smells so festive … very much like eggnog! It’s making me want to start trimming the Christmas Tree (I’ve not had time for that yet, I’ve been busily working on some things I needed to get done first, but, I think that I’ll finally be able to work on the tree and decorations this coming week!)

Seriously, this is my kind of eggnog. I like eggnog, but, I don’t drink it much. My husband often indulges in a few glasses every year, but, I find that I can’t even finish one glass because it’s just too sweet and creamy for me. And I thought I was the one with the sweet tooth in the house. But, eggnog is just TOO MUCH for me.

But, the green tea and white tea give this cup a lightness and a freshness that I wouldn’t experience in a glass of real eggnog, but I still taste some creaminess and sweetness from vanilla and a custard-y like taste … and a lovely hint of nutmeg. So, this has the elements of eggnog that I like, but without being too creamy and cloying.

I’m loving this tea!

Thank you to TeaEqualsBliss for sending me some of this tea!

Unlike my SororiTea Sister, I like bananas. I wouldn’t say that I LOVE them, I am not crazy about the fruit … you know, just eating a banana, that’s not something I’ll do often. I do love to add a banana or two to my smoothies so I usually have some bananas on hand. I don’t like banana runts, although I love banana ice pops, I love banana cupcakes, and I love banana tea. And I really like Banana Cream pie, although it isn’t usually my first choice when it comes to pie. (I’d prefer lemon meringue, if you’re curious)

So, I was really excited to try this Banana Cream Pie flavored tea!

This is really yum. The scent of the dry leaf is really quite odd, I must admit, It smells very little like bananas (that is to say, I hardly smell any banana scent here at all), and the same is true for the brewed tea. Very little banana smell.

But it TASTES like bananas. Actually, after the first three or four sips, my palate was able to assemble the flavors and it tastes like Banana Coconut Cream Pie. Yes, I know the name of it is only Banana Cream Pie, but the coconut is a strong enough flavor that it should be considered part of the name of this tea.

I taste banana, and vanilla cream custard, I taste coconut and I even taste pie crust that has been lightly seasoned with allspice. The tea is there too, and it’s all constructed in a very careful balance to create a real Banana Coconut Cream Pie experience in a teacup. Very nicely done, indeed!

gmathis

I can’t stand banana texture—hate the squishy slimy feel—but I can do banana flavor tea with no qualms. This sounds tasty.

LiberTEAS

I understand that … maybe that’s why I don’t like to eat a banana either (I don’t dislike it, but, its not my favorite fruit to eat on its own).

Nik

I love bananas and banana anything. Definitely adding this to my shopping list (in which I’ve hardly made even the hint of a dent this Black Friday, but whatever—new tea!). =)

Lynxiebrat

I like the idea of bananas, been needing to eat more for the potassium, but have been unable to convince myself to do it. It isn’t the texture, it is the smell that often puts me off. Even fresh bananas can put me off. Yet sometimes I do like them. I love them with strawberries, whether in yogurt, ice cream or shakes. Not a huge fan of Banana Cream Pie, I’ll eat a small piece of it….but then these days most of the only sweet stuff I can stand is tea. smiles

Indigobloom

try freezing your bananas and mixing it with a dash of cocoa/sauce… tastes just like icecream and no banana texture!

Autistic Goblin

lemon meringue pie is awesome (it’s why I like good morning sunshine I swear it tastes the same)

drank Pumpkin Pie by Trail Lodge Tea
4843 tasting notes

YUM!

There are a lot of pumpkin pie flavored teas out there, especially during this time of year. Some are better than others – this is one of the good ones.

From the moment I tore into the package, I could smell the pumpkin pie goodness! The smell filled the kitchen – you’d swear I was baking a pie.

The flavor is very pleasing – the black tea base is a solid, strong flavor, it isn’t one of those wimpy black tea blends that allows the flavor to do all the work. I like that I taste TEA here. The flavor of the pumpkin is a bit more mellow than I would like, I think, it isn’t a dominant flavor … but it’s there. The spices are warm and very delicious.

Overall, a very pleasing pumpkin pie blend.

LiberTEAS

I like this even better as a latte! The creaminess enhances the pumpkin-y flavor that I was looking for when served straight. Definitely yummy!!!

Autistic Goblin

yep, it’s pumpkin time again :D

drank High Country by Trail Lodge Tea

This is a wonderful black tea blend – perfect for a breakfast blend or an anytime blend, really. It is rich and robust enough to serve as a that important first cup of the day, but, it has a crisp lightness to it too, making it a nice choice for afternoon sipping, especially when it’s cold and the wind is howling like it is this afternoon! It has a nice coziness factor!

Very pleasant – rich, smooth, almost creamy. Would make a good latte if you wanted one, but, I like it just fine served straight up too. A really good blend!

I have not ordered from this company yet, but they have a lot of very interesting things on their website. Will have to try.

drank Orange Danish by Trail Lodge Tea
4843 tasting notes

Thank you TeaEqualsBliss for sending me a bit of this tea!

I’m loving this. It tastes so bright and deliciously orange-y, but I see where it’s getting that danish-y connection too. It has a pastry-like taste to it, sort of nutty and sweet and buttery. It has a very cozy and comforting kind of taste to it, like dessert … only without all the fat and calories!

I like this one.

Sounds really interesting

Thank you to TeaEqualsBliss for sending me a bit of this rooibos.

This is seriously yummy. If you like Tiramisu but don’t want to indulge in all the calories, this is a tasty substitute. Sure, I’d rather eat the Tiramisu too, but, it’s not something I could eat everyday… this tisane, though … I think I could drink this every day. It’s yummy. Chocolate-y, caramel-y, sweet, and creamy. Hints of coffee. Rich and warm and really very good.

This smells AMAZING!!!!! It’s like Lemon Custard and Cakey-Bakey-Heaven!
Yeah! Much like Lemon PIE – the aroma makes me melt!

The flavor is much like the aroma but it has a sugary-sweet flavoring popping in and out thru-out the sip…reminiscent of lemon drop candy…in addition to the natural sweetness of both the honeybush and the rooibos AND the natural lemon bits! YAY!

I think this is neat because it features both rooibos and green rooibos AND honeybush – not to mention the lemon bits and calendula and cornflower petals! These ingredients work tremendously well together!

This is a treat – that is for sure! YUM!

Thank you to TeaEqualsBliss for sending me a bit of this chai. It’s amazingly good.

There is a lot going on with this chai, but, it all works together so very well! It is a chai blend that I think can appeal to a wide range of tea drinkers because of the different flavors that are represented here, and what I like is that no one component overpowers the rest. It is a very pleasing balance between warmly spiced chai, black tea, chocolate and mint. It isn’t overly spicy, but it is warm enough to tell you that you’re drinking a spiced chai. The black tea is a bit mellow in the midst of these other strong flavors, but it isn’t completely obscured. The chocolate is there and the mint, giving this a dessert-y kind of goodness. This is one of those chai blends that I sip and elicit an audible mmmm~ afterward.

Really yummy!

Dylan Oxford

Pshh… false advertising! I see no wolves in that flavor list :P

Let me start off by thanking TeaEqualsBliss for writing her review of this tea. It was enough to get me to buy it. This tea is amazing. I already know the next time I steep this tea I am going to up the steeping time by a minute or two. My first thought is that this chai is a cool twist on the traditional chai. The chocolate is subtle enough that it is in the background, and doesn’t overpower the other spices. Add a little milk after steeping for a nice after dinner drink or a great way to start the day. My thanks again to TeaEqualsBliss.

I didn’t have as much time as I thought to log afterall…sorry about that. But…here’s this one!

This (dry) smells JUST LIKE Tiramisu!!! The closest smell-alike tea-wise thus far in my experiences. After infusing the aroma changes a little – still tiramisu-like but also like a perfumey-type aroma paired with it.

I can taste the yogurt, then the coffee – the coffee flavors linger, I can taste the chocolate and it’s nice, after the chocolate I can taste the rooibos and it plays well with others, then I can taste the creamy and caramelly type flavors and they are pleasant and appreciated. It ends on a sweet note and i LOVE that!

I really like this! REALLY like it! Probably the best Tiramisu attempt I’ve tasted so far! YAY!

potatowedges

I tried this tea last week and didn’t log due to human error – I over infused! PLEASE – don’t over infuse this tea!!! Just a heads-up!

Today I am trying it again and it’s lovely.

The Black Tea is mild, the green tea is slightly grassy but slightly sweet, too. The floral notes are nice and compliment the other flavors nicely…nothing is too overdone. They work in harmony together…just like nature seems to. I can see the connection between this blend and nature. And I am so very happy this is one of their ChariTEAs.

I feel one with nature now.

This is a delight…when infused right :)
(I might have to copyright this rhyme!) LOL

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…

I HATE BANANAS!!!!

No…really…

I HATE BANANAS!

Having said that…

This flavored black is interesting.

It smells like perfume, spice, coconut, vanilla, and a little banana.

The post infusion tea color is a light to medium brown. Kind of like a browner oolong color.

It’s slightly sweet and the allspice is mellow and works its groove thang. The Vanilla is wonderful! The Coconut is perfect. All of this really helps along the whole banana factor for me. This is nicely done all the way around! The banana is NOT overpowering at all. This is a nicely flavored black tea.

Oddly enough…considering my HATE for bananas…this is pretty darned special!

potatowedges

Sounds intriguing. I love bananas but can’t stand banana-flavored things…

This smells AMAZING! Both Dry and wet! Once infused the orange and almond combo really takes the stage! The peppercorns and safflower are hanging out in the background nicely tho. Or should I say – hanging out back stage? It’s juicy and citrus and almondy with that little bit of pepper kick. When I was looking at this before infusion I was wondering HOW this was going to taste like Orange Danish…but you know what…IT DOES taste list orange danish!!! It has a gentle danish type taste but the flavors are popping thru just fine! It’s quite slippery-smooth which is always nice!

This is truly unique. Two thumbs up on creativity. I really REALLY like this!

This is excellent! Just the right amount of everything! I’m loving that it’s Fair Trade! I also love that this company gives to Charities!

As far as this specific tea is concerned…the spices are nice, the chocolate and vanilla are both great touches and identifiable but nothing is too over powering…everything works really well together! The mint is just a nice finish! Barely there…really.

Niiiiice!

KeenTeaThyme

This sounds scrumptious!

ScottTeaMan

Seriously, the name alone gets a “like”…….and a “comment”. :))

James

The rating and description convinced me, and the tea has been ordered. Now to wait patiently by the door until it arrives.
