Huge list of tea vendors with lots of European options

I came across this huge list of vendors on TeaForum and thought others might appreciate it, especially those who live in Europe.

I’m happy to see that my favourite European vendors, What-Cha and TheTea, have been included.

Thank you! This is so helpful (I notice Dammann Frères is missing, though happy to see A.C. Perch is there)!

There were a few Canadian vendors on that list that I was unaware of, though most of them sell puerh. The list seems to concentrate on unflavoured teas, as I noticed that a lot of companies that primarily sell blends are not included.

Fair enough! I noticed Camellia Sinensis there for Canada (which I regularly order from). I am so excited to look through these companies over the break, regardless. What a great resource!

Yep, this list will not help me avoid buying tea! :P I’ve had good experiences with Camellia Sinensis as well, and also with Cha Yi.

I’ll have to check out Cha Yi — I’ve never heard of them. I’m glad to hear you enjoy Camellia Sinensis though — I’ve done six tea orders this year and four were from them haha!

It makes a lot more sense to buy from a Canadian company given the high cost of shipping these days. They usually have a sale in January, and I’m thinking of picking up some of their rooibos/herbal teas, along with their Shan Lin Xi. We’ll see.

Many of their teas look great! I was intrigued with the Mango Passion Oolong (along with a fair number of straight teas). Thanks for the tip on the sale — hopefully you can pick a few teas up!

Off the top of my head, some teas I’ve enjoyed from them are their Shan Lin Xi, Feng Huang Hong Cha, Jing Guan Yin Hong (though others find it perfumey), Guei Fei, Dong Ding Mr. Nen Yu, Bai Hao, and Gyokuro Okabe. Their Rooibos Chai is also good, though fairly simple. It doesn’t contain licorice, as many decaf chai blends do. What are your favourite Camellia Sinensis teas?

From Camellia Sinensis my favourites thus far have been Ali Shan, Si Ji Chun, Guei Fei, Jin Shuan, Earl Grey Cream (all-time favourite and drink this 1-2 times daily haha), La Cumbre Bitaco, and Lisbon Sunshine. I also enjoyed One Night in Rio and Madame Marquise.

I’ll keep those in mind. :) I had their Ali Shan several years ago and thought it was nice.
