A delicious and decadent treat of organic South African rooibos paired with our own hand-cut chewy caramel, toasted sweet brown rice, and the delicate floral notes of Fleur de Sel to draw out the rich, smoky tones in the rooibos and caramels. A perfect balance of sweet and salty. To be enjoyed neat or with a splash of cream and sugar.

Perfect. Uncaffeinated, new, caramel.
And it smells so much like Divine Temptation from Bayswater. Sweet nougaty goodness.
Anyways, it’s pretty good! I’m enjoying the flavour for sure, and the rooibos isn’t too woody. But if I were in the market to replace this, I’d just get something similar from Bayswater or Janet’s Special Teas. :)

You know, considering there are big huge chunks of caramel in this tea, it doesn’t taste like much besides regular rooibos. There’s a bit of toastiness, and the caramel doesn’t melt all the way through so you can get a second steep, but I wasn’t getting a lot of flavour from this. I think it might be better if I added some sweetener next time.

From Fusion, when I order, I do tend to reorder samples of teas before I run out. Which sometimes seems a better option than buying four ounces of a tea, which is Fusion’s only option. There are so many teas I love, I just can’t be buying four ounces of everything. I do have SOME tea sanity. This blend is still very good! I love the nuance of the sweet caramel, but also the toasted aspect. ANNNDDD… it looks like Fusion doesn’t sell this blend anymore. oh no! I haven’t been around Steepster very much, but still drinking the tea. (Is anyone else having steepster icon photos not working, or is that just me?)

My photo has been broken for a while too. I have also not been as present here. I tend to come back around for advent season, then fade out for most of the rest of the year.
A lot of teas have missing photos now too, I’m wondering if they purged photos on their end that were over a certain age.
I bet you’re right, @Cameron B. Photos take up storage space. If they were thoughtful about it, they might only delete big ones. It would be better if the system just scaled down avatar resolution to a 256 pixel square and using a limited colorspace. But that would require someone to spend time coding. For tea pictures, higher res is needed, but surely not more than 8 megapixels (a 2 MB compressed jpg).
@Dustin I don’t think avatars are vanishing due to absence, since @ashmanra is here frequently, but lost their avatar, whereas it seems to me that others who’re long gone still have theirs.
Thanks for confirming it’s not just me, everyone! If it helps, it seemed to happen right after I edited my profile, and then suddenly many photos were missing, including mine. It would be annoying if Steepster is actually purging things, as IMO, Steepster is like a universal record of tea.
okaaayyyy, now I’m looking at my cupboard for the first time since this happened and MOST of the tea photos are broke. It also doesn’t seem to favor recent teas, since I see at least one Butiki tea has a photo still on it…
It did allow me to add a new photo, but it isn’t letting AliasHali add one.
Not sure what’s going on. They’ve also started updating old discussion threads with phrases like “tea forum” and “tea news” to link to their sites…
