I forgot I had this one when I first got to work today! I even wrote down tasting notes and stuck it in my pocket! These are teas that we get at work.
It’s okay, it just tastes like black really. I might have oversteeped this one, it was a little tannin-y. But no aftertaste, just a little astringent. It’s golden brown tea. I detect sweet notes, maybe fruity, but very minimal. And the initial smell is almost a little grassy, like a field. I think I can get better black tea taste from my trusted PG Tips.

I’m almost surprised that there isn’t some jasmine in there or something of the sort. I tried adding milk and honey and found that I didn’t mind it, but I think that overall I prefer more of a malty than a flowery cup of black tea.
Yeah…the astrigent part let’s me stay away from Darjeelings. Not a big fan of it.
Are they all that way? I was thinking I may just have bad tea at work.
