From The Tea Haus

Ceylon (Sri Lanka) is a major tea producer. The excellent teas that come from this island country are used for many blends and especially as the base for flavoured black tea. Orange is referring to the Dutch House of Orange and pekoe meaning tea leaf. It makes a rich cup of tea with a mild aroma.

Despite having so many varieties and flavours of tea, sometimes a girl just craves a cup of orange pekoe. With this in mind, I got some of this one when we were at the Tea Haus on Friday and brewed it up for my morning cup today. Black, this is malty and hearty, and a great morning cup. I’m not the biggest malt fan so I added some sugar and mmmm this became a great one for me. I can see myself drinking this in the morning to wake up or the evening to unwind after a rough day. It would also be a great tea to blend with as well.

I just finished this one today. As much as I enjoyed it, I’m not going to rush out and get this one again quite yet. I have other teas that I have to get through before I buy more. And actually, I’m gettin close to being done some of the other ones, so that’s good.
Man, do I ever buy a lot of tea… haha I have a coworker that is starting to get into tea, and it’s kind of funny ’cause I have all of my teas listed with their ingrediants in a word doc and I printed it for her… she was amazed at how much I have…
