7 Tasting Notes

Pomegranate Green Tea from Tetley
35

I was really excited to try this tea as I love fruit-flavoured green teas. Most of my green teas are loose leaf and haven’t had too much experience with pre-bagged tea. This tea smells quite delightful but I was very disappointed in the taste. I can’t quite put my finger on what it is but something doesn’t taste quite right. I will continue to use it when I am running out of time as I’m out the door

Apple Cinnamon from Tim Hortons
98

I have never been a fan of apple cider but I love spiced apple teas! This is one of my faves to have especially on the evening shift (yes, I currently work there). I will likely have to buy a box before I leave this job :)

Earl Grey (loose leaf) from Twinings
93

I never really liked Earl Grey because I used to only sweeten tea with honey and would usually drink this one black and didn’t enjoy it at all. After working in a coffee shop and often smelling the sweet aroma of Early Grey, I got a craving for it and finally tried my own cup. I sweetened it with brown sugar and now this is one of my quick go-to teas in the morning!

Organic Echinacea Plus from Traditional Medicinals
83

Not the best tasting tea I’ve ever had but it is definitely effective in helping my body fight off a cold! Will always have some of this tea on hand :).
Tip: I tend to use each teabag a few times throughout the day to get lots of fluids in me and to limit costs.

Movie Night from DAVIDsTEA
70

A very nice sweet tea. At times a little too sweet, best to have when you particularly have a sweet craving. Would love to drink while watching a movie but I usually watch movies in the evening and tend to avoid caffeine too late in the evening.
One complaint-there doesn’t seem to be many green tea leaves in it, sometimes struggle to get some out!

Long Life Oolong from DAVIDsTEA
62

This is the first Oolong Teas I have purchased. It was quite good but it was also pretty expensive. Likely wouldn’t purchase this one again.

Mom's Apple Pie from DAVIDsTEA
100

One of my favourite teas of all-time. It reminds me of a very light apple cider. Once or twice I have let it steep too long and it was still delicious! Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fruity green tea :)
