The Healing Cup

I totally agree with my Sororitea Sister LiberTEAs, here! This is a pretty fantastically flavored herbal/Rooibos! I had a cup of this yesterday but wanted to ponder it a bit more before typing up a tasting note.

It has a pleasant aroma to it. Lovely vanilla, cinnamon, and orange mesh together and create a unique aroma of its own.

The flavor is along the same lines…gentle cinnamon, vanilla, and citrus all work and play together nicely…pair that with the sweetness of the Rooibos and this really shines nicely!

Nice flavor without being too over the top, calming and comforting, nice hot or lukewarm or cold!

Two thumbs up!

I’m pleasantly surprised by this blend. I didn’t expect to like it … that’s my normal expectations when it comes to herbal blends. But, this blend takes the classic flavors of cinnamon and orange and teams them up with an organic rooibos base rather than the typical black tea base … and I’m liking how these flavors play together.

The nutty flavor of the rooibos melds quite nicely with the earthy tones of the cinnamon and the bright, sunny flavor of the orange. It’s a nice combination of flavors, especially later in the evening. I am really enjoying this … way more than I thought I would!
