Puerh Wrapper

Does anyone know a good source with reasonable shipping for the type of paper used to wrap puerh cakes? I have several cakes that the wrapper is pretty badly torn and several others I got in shares that have no wrapper at all. Thanks.

Wymm Tea sells some. http://www.wymmtea.com/shop/mulberry-paper

You might also want. To check out art shops for unbleached mulberry paper.

Thanks. Placed my order

I still could use some paper. I looked at Wymm, and $5 worth of paper costs $10 to ship. No thanks!

I bought $15 worth plus some cups, plus some tea. Made the shipping look reasonable, but now the paper cost over $50, though I think that’s in Canadian dollars.

I wouldn’t be surprised if White2Tea could sell you some if you happen to be putting in an order or are a member of their club. Since they make their own teas they must have sources of wrapping paper.

Last time I placed an order for CWS, I added paper and the estimated shipping cost jumped by more than $10, which scared me off. I was thinking of trying again, but am finding other vendors more compelling at the moment.

Try placing the order through email to them and checkout if maybe you get a more accurate and fairer rate.

The Wymm Tea paper appears to be for one paper, while the CWS is for a set of 10.

I quite like some of the nice wrappers, good idea to store the cakes in plain paper will keep the wrappers nice for framing

If you want paper, I have no problem sending some for the cost of shipping (less than $5). Paper only costs a couple of cents per sheet, but some are definitely more durable that others. I picked a few based on that and usually use those to rewrap cakes with weak paper.

Thanks, but I already bought what I hope is a lifetime supply.

Haha yeah, luckily that doesn’t require a huge budget.
