Does coconut and tea work together?

It can. For many it’s either a love it or hate it thing and some prefer toasted coconut and others raw coconut. I don’t mind it, but I have gotten to the point that I prefer to buy blends with out it just because certain companies seem to put it in almost everything and I have gotten bored of it. I find it goes especially nice with a pouchong oolong and I have a coconut green tea that I adore.

Interesting. I’ve never seen it before but I’m thinking a little experimentation is in order

I personally am pretty fussy about what teas I like with coconut in them, if it’s too creamy or cloying or oily, I’m usually not a fan. It can be pretty good in the right blend though. I love DavidsTeas’s Coco Lemon Thai, a white coconut blend :)

You might want to try Harney & Son’s Bangkok. It has a very nice coconut taste blended with a nice quality green tea. I’d be happy to send you a sample if you like.

Thanks for the suggestion, I have a similar tea that has a white base that’s like that, but I’ll keep it in mind!

Throwing two black teas we have on our site here. Coconut Chai http://herbalinfusions.ca/products/coconut-chai
and
Key Lime Coconut

I know you mentioned no black teas, but if you think either one looks interesting place an order and I can small batch blend either one using either rooibos, cacao, sencha or even white tea as the base. Just leave it in the notes on check-out and it’ll be the same price :)

Thanks for the links to your teas, they look very good! I will send you a message on here to discuss a few things regarding the blending, I just followed you :)

So guess what!! I actually found coconut Grove and the coconut Oolong online at davidstea! Just not Cocomint.. So I will probably order at least coconut Grove for her as it’s her favorite, and keep browsing for others :) couldn’t believe there is still some left! Thanks for all the suggestions so far!
