My favorite tea shop. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely patient—I spent hours in there just smelling teas and trying to figure out which ones I wanted. Great selection (and a very detailed catalog to help you out) and a calming, soothing environment. The teas here are very affordable as well! I’ll be coming back for years.

I love this place. Very knowledgeable staff. Very relaxed atmosphere. No pushy sales people like Teavana.

The Tea Source has a staff who really know their teas and provide great service. The owner makes sure that his staff knows how to bring the tea to the right temperature and tells you how long to steep. One thing I wish I could do is have a timer that dings (I know that would be no fun for others enjoying a peaceful cup of tea) but I often forget to flip the sand timer and then I get a stew of a tea.

Probably a bit biased as a former employee, but TeaSource is pretty much the only tea I’ll drink. Good folk to work for, good folk to work with, all around a quality establishment.

I’ve been going to TeaSource since it opened. Well, a little less now that I live 200 miles away. But it’s the first place I turn to when it’s time to replenish my tea supply. The selection of tea, tea cups, pots, tins and other gadetry is astounding. The knowledge of staff members is impressive. There are two locations and they both have tables to enjoy a pot of tea. They do sell pastries but I’ve always been unimpressed by them. Business has been so good the last few years it’s been hard to get a table when I want to hang out there with a friend and a pot of tea. In fact, they’ve put little cards on the table (at least in the Highland location) asking people to limit their time there to 90 minutes. Though I don’t think it’s strictly enforced, more a matter of trusting people to be courteous to others. I love this place and wish a location would open in Duluth!
