Also grown in the Shizuoka prefecture, this tea is traditional sencha but with a crunchy twist. Genmaicha is actually sencha with toasted rice and popcorn blended inside. This toasty, roasty take on sencha gives it an earthy tone and an interesting perspective. It’s a warm and savory approach to green tea and we’re thrilled to have it in the nourishtea mix.
