Known for their numerous certifications for quality, organic cultivation and Fair Trade accreditations, the Chamraj Estate is located in South India, 8,000 feet above sea level. Their tea growing skills have been honed over the last 85 years, right from the inception of the company in 1922. This Special Fancy Oolong Frost Tea was picked after a hard frost during the winter season of 2006. The “Frost” here means temperatures in the high 30s, low 40s, cold for the area, unusual for tea production. The result is a sweet and subtle flowery aroma. A truly superb tea!

Now much for aroma but it has a nice mellowed-out Oolong Color.
Considering it doesn’t smell like much this has a great taste. Very flavorful! It is sweet and floral – much like described – I would say more sweet than floral. This is a lovely cup!
