This Darjeeling Tea is from the “Lingia” Estate. A bright Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe loose leaf tea. Lingia Tea Estate is situated close to the Nepalese border.This tea offers a flowery and rather soft taste thanks to its high portion of Sinensis leaves. The name Lingia is derived from the word Lin-ge which in the language of the Lepcha means “triangle of eight mountain tops”. Lingia was founded in the 1860’s by the Wernickes Family and is located in the Golden Valley approximately 35km west from Darjeeling. The tea bushes are grown at up to 1,848 meters. It has pleasing qualities with a light golden infusion.
