The Tao of Tea
Lower oxidized oolong with cool, menthol aroma. A hybrid oolong from Central Taiwan.
With all the lilacs blooming in my neighbourhood its hard to smell this tea properly. The flowery smell is not overpowering like some Tie Guan Yins Ive had. It is more on the grassy side than flowery. Very nice still.
This is one that I will have to look for the next time I’m in my local Whole Foods. My favorite of Tao of Tea (so far!) has been the Nepal Oolong – which was absolutely exquisite.
Hmmm, didnt know Nepal produced any Oolong.

most fav tea ever
Grrrrr – the hot water dispenser at work makes water at 180F. The Tao of Tea recommends 190F for full flavor for this tea… I’m getting a good cup at 180F for 3mins, but I need to try it at 190F.
Still a solid, super-floral, lilac-heavy delight.
