With all the lilacs blooming in my neighbourhood its hard to smell this tea properly. The flowery smell is not overpowering like some Tie Guan Yins Ive had. It is more on the grassy side than flowery. Very nice still.
I love this tea! My love for Oolong teas started with Ti Kuan Yin, but I was glad to find this tea - it’s a cheaper and just-about-as-awesome.
This tea is fantastic. The first steeping runs a little harsh and minerally, but then it opens up into a fresh flower blossom, warm dew, pale stonefruit, and juicy cup.
