First Tea Table tea of April! I’m not actually sure what I think of it yet; it’s definitely a good mint, but the black tea underneath was somewhat muted. Consider this a provisional rating!
Organic New World Mint
Organic New World Mint Tea blends organic black tea from Guatemala paired with organic peppermint from the mountains of Oregon. This blend has just the right amount of minty freshness to complement the robust body and maltiness of the black tea base. Smooth mouth-feel with a lingering minty finish and light astrigency. Wonderful after a meal, or try some with a pinch of sugar instead of dessert. Also goes great with chocolate! Use one tsp. per cup and steep about 4 minutes in freshly boiled water.
