This oolong style is close to a green tea in taste and apperance. There is a slight sweet taste, and a smell similar to dragonwell. Thanks teavivre for the sample, this is one I enjoyed and will probably buy in the future.

This is one of the better draon wells that I have tasted. It is light yellow in color with a sweet smell. The taste is also light with a vegatable like sweetness.
This sencha is pretty good. There is a slightly sweet aroma that is hard for me to pick up in the taste. Slight bitterness with a vegetable, grassy quality. It is what I was expecting when I got this tea.
Purchased this tea from Macha Tea House in Madison. It tastes (and smells) exactly like a brownie; malt and chocolate (brownies are pretty good). I will be going back for more. After the first steep, the in your face flavor was gone.
Purchased in the bulk section of my coop. Pretty good for the price. The tea seems to be made with a lower grade bancha, with a good amount of stems and dust. However, a higher grade tea would probably taste about the same, because it is overwhelmed with the rice. Tea has a strong taste of popcorn (microwaved popcorn?).
Had this tea at the shop in Madison. Very earthy, vegetable qualities, and a bit brothy and egglike. Enjoyed the tea, and stayed pretty good on the second infusion (but became a little astringent during subsequent infusions). Light and calming.
