I’m back! I’ve still been drinking tea, but have taken a little leave of absence from Steepster. I’ve been trying a lot of different Teavana teas, just because I know that there’s more to discover with them—at least more than a Celestial Seasonings type of tea. So this was one of my first Teavanas, and I love it. I’ve shared it with multiple friends, and they’ve all really enjoyed it too. It has very earthy tones, and I like that about it rather than the fruity teas that I usually drink. Today I over sweetened it a little bit, so that gives it a different flavor. But I still enjoy it, and it’s a great tea that works just as well throughout the day as it cools down a little bit. Love it!
Got this tea today as my first tea from Teavana. I made it using the Teavana Perfectea Maker. I’m on the road traveling, so I wasn’t able to use boiling water—but the tea was still delicious using water heated the microwave. 2nd steeping was a little bitter, but I didn’t add as much water—I’ll probably try it again tomorrow morning. I’m also excited to mix this with a Dragonwell tea I have from an organic shop I visited a few weeks ago. definitely worth the $10.00!
Tasting this tea while sitting down with a friend before choir. I have to say, it wasn’t as sweet as I expected with the name “Wild Sweet Orange,” but it is the perfect afternoon tea for a warm day like today. It’s light, but still has a distinct flavor that I enjoy. Can’t wait to enjoy it more as it cools.
Perfect tea for right before I go to bed. It calms and soothes the nerves without being overbearing :)
