When I bought this I thought it was a smoky Lapsang, it is a sweet Lapsang Souchong and it is quite good. It has virtually no bitterness and virtually no astringency. It is not noticeably malty. This is quite a surprise from what I was expecting. This tea is sweet and tasty. This is another winner of a tea from Streetshop88. There is no need to add milk to this tea. I added sugar but I add sugar to almost all teas. You could definitely drink it straight if you wanted too. It has a nice natural sweetness.
I brewed this one time in a 20oz teapot with 3 tsp leaf and 200 degree water for 3 min.
