Not bad… Nice color, fast brew time with strong, individually wrapped bags. Its okay, when you’re really in the mood for that set of flavors, but I think the rum flavoring enhanced the bitter tea flavor, and it overpowered the chai spices. The addition an extra pinch of chai spice fixed the problem for me, but that might be a hassle in the future when trying to use tea bags for convenience purposes.

This tea is lovely. It smells lovely brewing, like berry jam. It tastes just as sweet… The caramel tastes more like just a plain sweetness, but the berries are strong, and the whole thing blends well. The tea is a dark brew, and takes on a slightly creamy mouthfeel, like a tea with coconut pieces. When brewed properly, this blend doesn’t get even slightly bitter… A plus for sweet tea drinkers!

I may have oversteeped, but this one is exceptionally bitter to me. It smells like a good, albeit artificial, caramel apple, and I’m hoping that if I keep a closer watch on it next time, I’ll get a flavor closer to that scent.

Good tea to make when trying to wean your kids off of kool-aid, or when you just want a nice, sweeter tea yourself. The berry flavor is very pronounced, and the bitter black tea flavor takes a backseat to it. The tea smells of rich berries, and is a natural pale brown tea color – none of the hibiscus color/flavor usually used in berry teas. I’d prefer it chilled, but this is definitely a nice flavor hot, too.

This tea is fine. It doesn’t really taste or smell of the “hawaiian flavors” boasted on the bag, but it was nine cents a serving, and its a nice basic tea, and a solid mixer with a flavored drink pouch to put in a little extra health benefit. Nothing special, not worth a re-purchase when lipton is 3 cents a serving, but not bad either.

drank Cherry Cordial by Culinary Teas

Loose tea smells of sweet cordial cherries – the chocolate, cherry liqeur, and maraschino are all present. Same goes for the tea – dark chocolate, liquid cherry filling, and maraschino. The cherry flavor is artificial tasting, as any maraschino is. The black tea base is assertive in this one, bitter and strong, but it actually tastes good with the sweet candy flavor. A keeper!

The dry tea bag had a slight sticky feeling, not sure why, and smelled strongly of the plain Sleepytime tea variety. It is pre-sweetened with stevia extract, and the final result is a little sweeter than I usually make my teas, but probably preferable to kids. The brewed cup had a natural tea color, almost like apple juice, and the grape scent was buried beneath a spearminty spice-drop type of smell. The taste is interesting. Minty, with faint artificial grape, though the main flavor is sweetness – a very faint spicy flavor in the backround makess this tea better. Wouldn’t drink it every day, but definitely worth keeping and sampling when bored of the usual cups.

This tea is delicious warm – you can clearly taste the black tea, but there’s also a mild blueberry flavor, and a sweetened creamy vanilla flavor. Its also pretty good cold, but the flavors get stronger. The blueberry is sweeter, the cream is milkier, and the tea flavor is more pronounced and a bit bitter. The good news is that the bitterness tastes great with the sweet and creamy taste of the tea. Just lovely.
