mmmm this is a pretty nice puerh. I’ve been sipping on it throughout the morning and while it’s good, i prefer the puerhs from mandala that i’ve had. This has a very mellow profile. It’s got a bit of an earthiness to it, but not over poweringly so. this is a yunnan, so i expect that it contributes to it’s mellowness. Overall, still a good little example of what yezi tea is all about. nice!

do not like. holy mother of all things sour. This is way too in your face sour. It’s like being punched in the face. no thanks! i think? cavo passed this one off to me…sadly i forgot to put it in my cupboard, so i can’t take it out..but woah. glad to have tried this but yowzers…sssoooouuur! and not really “raspberry flavour”

oh man… this is so good. THIS is what i should have started my day with. It’s malty and delicious. I, like the others, wouldn’t call it “scotch-like” but i don’t care…because i love it. love it. now i want more. If the rest of my samples from yezi are anything like this one, then there will be an order after the BBB Box arrives :)

Another white christmas latte…almost at the end of this bag and i’m super happy that i discovered that i like this as a latte versus plain brewing :)

SIpdown! not much else to say that hasn’t already been said, but this will likely be a repurchase. I like it a bunch!

mmm sipdown. Today is a day for drinking things up so that I can do a final tally at the end of the day after i add in dexters teas. That way i know how much i have to aim to drink up on the long weekend heh. This isn’t my favourite from teavivre but it IS a really nice tea. It’s a tea that makes me slow down. Not because it’s blow your mind oh wow crazy good…but because it has those qualities to it. It’s a relaxing, lighter sort of caramel, cocoa, malty, grainy sort of cup. I am really enjoying this as a wake up cup.

Sipdown! (coincidentally if i cheat and ignore that i have a box of teas from dexter i still need to add to my cupboard, i’m still hovering at 222 since i’ve been sipping things down and adding her teas gradually.) I’m sad to see this one go, but it’ll be a reorder. I like having the chocolate/peppermint option in a non black base. :)

thanks dexter! This is another one from the box that dexter sent me and i have to say one of the nice things about is, is there are a bunch of rooibos and tisane in it, so that’s a nice change. My cupboard is 75% black teas with/without flavouring; 15% puerhs; and maybe 5% rooibos/tisanes. Which is sad because i generally like them. a bunch. so yay for new teas to try!

This one is a pretty sour tea. I tried this one hot tonight and i’ve got a cold brew for tomorrow going. i think this will be better as a cold brew, since there’s an after taste in this hot that i’m not a fan of. The initial sips of this one were pretty sour but then as it cooled, it became much less so. Overall, not bad, though i think i prefer the other cherry version from NMT co. that dexter sent me. Thanks Dexter!

I’m not really sure what “shangri-la” is supposed to taste like..but i’m guessing it’s probably not this lol However, this is kind of tasty..but can’t quite place my finger on what i like about it.

I cold brewed this the other day and the initial sip was pretty hibiscus sour. So i added some sugar. and now? now it’s drinkable and delicious!

sipdown! i had some of this hot brewed earlier today and then cold steeped the rest. Let’s talk about how that was a bad idea. Don’t do it. I was hoping it would let the flavours come out a bit more…no such luck. Ah well, at least i enjoyed the hot steepings of this one, and i’m really glad to have crossed this off my list! thanks a bunch dinosara!
