44 Tasting Notes
This tea is a little weird, but good. It was my first high quality green tea and at first I wasn’t sure about the taste but now, a year later, I enjoy it. It is a shame it is so pricey. The dry leaves smell like alfalfa and it tastes like vegetebles. Interesting flavours.
Flavors: Artichoke, Butter
I drank it once and I really loved it. It reminded me of Toasted Walnut, only better. I could really taste the popcorn ! It was sweet and conforting. After I finished my cup, I caught myself wanting more. Good tea for when you’re craving something sweet.
Flavors: Apple, Butter, Caramel, Maple, Popcorn
I quite like this tea. In cold weather, it warms you up and makes you happy. The taste is also quite good (cinnamon, spicescloves, orange). It is spicy yet sweet. It does not taste at all like a green tea and at first I was disapointed because of this, but the more I drank this tea and the more it grew on me.
Flavors: Cinnamon, Cloves, Orange Zest
Nope. This is waaaaaay too sweetened. I should have known, as coconut nectar is the main ingredient, but I was kind of hoping it would be good. I really love good, straight matchas and this one really let me down as my first flavoured one. The matcha base is poor quality and yellowish. All in all, it just tastes like overly sweetened poor quality green tea.
I love it when I need an energy boost + I am craving a straight tea. It is a little smokey and since it is the only green maté I have tasted, I cannot say if it is usual for this type of tea. It is an okay tea. I think it flattens my stomach a little when I drink it, but it can be my imagination!
Flavors: Forest Floor, Smoke
When I need a pick me up in the morning, this is the tea to go. Because it is a maté, it contains a lot of cafeine (or mateine, whatever) and it succeeds in making me up! I also really like the taste : a combination of chocolate and rasberry. It it also a bit nutty because of the almonds it contains. I always keep a tin of it in my cupboard.
Flavors: Almond, Chocolate, Raspberry
Eww. This was my first straight puerh and I did not like it at all. I think it is the kind of tea I like the less, which is regretfull because I wanted so hard to love it! I dunno, but it seemed fancy and all. However, the smell and taste remind me of a barn. I tried too cups of it so far and I couldn’t finish either one of them. I will try other straight puerhs, maybe it was just this one that does not suit me.
Flavors: Decayed Wood, Dirt, Wet Earth
