This tea is actually really affordable and kind of a cool wrapper too. It was one of my first Pu’er teas but I think I did it okay and got a nice taste out of it without trying too hard. The first brew was tossed (they say to), but each brew after got more and more flavorful until about number 5 when I stopped. Its all personal preference, but htis is one of the better I have had cuz it was sweet.

This tea should probably be the number one tea on steepster.com

It even LOOKS good. The prices got better somehow and it is so milky and sweet and carmelly. Please, try to find something better in this category.

Wait, is it number 1 on here? haha, I shouldve checked. Anyway, its great. Cant really ruin it, went boiling water and left it for about 3 minutes, poured a big pot and went and sat outside…what more do you want?

This is the perfect tea for those who like white tea and like puerh. It tastes more like white tea really, but is a bit odd like puerh.

Really really good. I burned it on accident by going 212 on it, but tossed that brew and went about 160 and found a really nice tea. Proably would be good cold brewed, but havent tried that yet…it is SWEET, so if you arent used to that, just know its there.

Winter is coming so better for us to dirnk black probably, but this is a fun tea to have an probably the best of the white teas i have ever tried. tastes like silver needle but a bit better.

The tea that arrived to me didnt look exactly like the photo because I ordered a sample…well, I got one for free for begging, haha.

The tea came in a silver foil bag that looked very unsuspecting. I read about this tea on a blog and had to try it, amongst many other teas. I immediately grabbed a knife and cut the bag and was hit immediatley with the aroma of freshhhh. It was as if I was somehow transported to the mountain this came from and blindfolded and asked to “smell now”.

The tea was very refreshing, much much much unlike other puerh teas I have had. It was not bitter or astringent, it was refreshing and smooth, I even noticed flavors of peaches, which I never get in other teas.

In the box was a little note that was from the owner I assume, and instructions on how to make the tea. They suggested 165 degrees which is really low, but I gave it a try and was actually surprised. So maybe try starting there as well.

Thank you for this tea. I hope on my next payday I can place an order.

Not sure if this is black tea or black little pieces of heaven. This tea was absolutely incredible.

I wish I could piece together how I felt about it, but basically it was very very good. The air in the room once you ge the leaves wet is amazing. The tea taste is very sweet but also a bit refreshingly bitter. I wish I knew the full name of this tea or if it will be the same next year. Its superb.

Ps- Best results were with boiling water

I ordered this for my partner about 2 months ago and just got on this website and now am reveiwing it.

Long story short, DRINK IT! It is very good and tastes like butter, smooth and a bit sweet. THe color is dark and I brewed it for about 2 minutes at a big pot on the stove, without letting it boil though. I ended up liking it so much I made it again with milk and agave, which was perfect for this tea.

I am here to write my first review after trying this tea that a friend left me a big piece of. I prepared the tea with about 7 grams of tea in a big tea pot and used water that was almost boiling. It is one of my first Puerhs and they told me it was one of the best.

It is good, the taste is nice but the smell is a bit unrefreshing. I like how it makes you feel when you drink it, which is apparently why Puerh tea is so popular. I usually drink Oolong or green tea, and this is actually kind of in between those. I have to go to their website and see how much it costs. It is good.

HI!! Thanks for writing up your thoughts on this. I’m just checking to make sure you had a sample of the 2012 here and not the 2014. Same producers but two very different teas due to picking time weather. The 2014 will benefit from longer storage, I feel, than the 2012. Just finished the pressing of the 2015 and I’m very very excited about this years offering. Grateful, Garret

I was raised in a home with tea every morning, but not necessarily great teas. As I grew olde , I started to drink better teas and go into tea shops from time to time.

Now I am a consumer of all kinds of teas. If you have a favorite to recommend, send me a message. Ill try to do the same :)
