57 Tasting Notes
This was a light floral/fruity tea, It was really nice for evening time after dinner. I will enjoy what I have left but I will not buy it again, it was a good experience but not enough to make me want to buy more. For those that like bergamot and white tea I would recommend it to at least try it.
Note: has no mint, not sure why they put mint in the name of the tea
Flavors: Floral, Lemon Zest, Linden, Mango, Peony
Preparation
I got a sample from the caffeine advent calendar of Plum Deluxe. It was one of my favorites out of all the samples so far, I haven’t gotten through all of them yet. I am not a sweets kind of person, I love savory overall not just tea. I found this tea to have a really good full bodied flavor balance with the cacao, strawberries, puerh. This would be a great tea for Valentines day. I bought 1 oz once it became available, I feel like it would probably be a good tea too for a time of self care, or “moon time” for women, it’s really a comforting blend. I am partial to strawberry though, but I also hate artificial flavors, and this blend didn’t have any artificial taste too it.
Flavors: Cacao, Cinnamon, Rice Pudding, Strawberry
Preparation
I find it this tea to be a gentle black, with slight hint of rose. I can imagine that this would be a great tea for afternoon tea time with friends who would enjoy finger sandwiches and having light hearted conversations in a garden. Maybe a garden tea party. I’m a bit biased as I have always been a fan of strawberry, so the flavors of a creamy strawberry tea sounds yummy. I did add a splash of cream and I use a sugar called panela, which is a brown unrefined whole cane sugar, I prefer this to honey or other sweeteners.
Flavors: Cream, Rose, Strawberry
Preparation
Its very light flavored earl grey blend. The floral notes are very faint. This would probably be better 2 tsp per 8 oz cup. I did 1 1/2 and it was still faint. Steeped it for 5 minutes. It was okay would not buy again
Preparation
Its a very light flavored tea. The orange didnt really shine through. I had this with a splash of half and half. I will sip through this pack that i have left but i would not buy it again. It was actually part of a trio mystery pack.
The next time i though i would do 2 tsp per 8 oz, maybe this will help the subtle floral and citrus essences come through stronger. I feel like this tea would work in places with milder winters for some reason
Flavors: Citrus, Orange
Preparation
Nice orange flavored black tea that was perfect after a meal. There was a floral note at the end which was nice. I would get this again, its a good tea for afternoon time when I’m looking to just sit and relax
Flavors: Flowers, Lemon Zest, Lemongrass, Orange, Rose
Bergamot and mint…. hmm
Yeah it’s interesting because there isnt any mint in it. Which is strange, its still okay for what it is lol mint or no mint
