A really nice take on EG. The vanilla rounds off the sharp edges on the bergamot so while this is still very strong bergamot, it’s not overpowering. I don’t know if the sprinkles add a touch of sweetness or if that’s the vanilla but it’s a really nice combo. I’m honestly not sure what the hops are supposed to bring to the party, but it’s a good package. I just ordered another 2 ounces. It’s been awhile since I ordered more of an EG. :)

Well I made this but because my family is useless and incompetent at times, I had to deal with all sorts of things and this sample was cold by the time I got to it. So, it is a little more bergamot tasting than I suspect the hotter tea would be. Even so, I actually don’t mind this one. It’s creamy and has a nice vanilla flavor. There is a bit of an irish cream note that I am digging too. Though the bergamot is strongest here, luckily neither bitter nor astringent. Now I don’t think I will be stocking his in any sort of large quantities anytime soon but I would probably grab another sample to see how this is hot or maybe grab an ounce to experiment with.

Family doesn’t respect tea time, hey? That reminds me of times when I’d be staying at my mom’s in my hometown and my grandma would call me out of nowhere and expect me to drop everything and walk over to her place for some despite just making a cup of tea. And it would be about something as unimportant as taking an empty tupperware container over that she doesn’t even need at the moment haha.

yes. SIL bought a couple earl grey’s…willingly. This one is not so bad. I suspect it’s the vanilla that’s smoothing out the blergamot for me. So it’s more lemoney than blergy. I still wouldn’t need to keep this in my cupboard or anything, but i drank the entire cup and it was decent :) not rating this sine i’m not an EG fan…but MY rating would likely be about a 70.

I thought this one wasn’t bad either; you can almost not tell it’s an Earl variety! :P
