Set the mood
Everyone knows that chocolate-covered strawberries are a classic recipe for romance. So it goes without saying that this rich, sweet, strawberry-chocolate black tea blend is pretty hard to resist. Especially since it’s spiked with all sorts of ancient aphrodisiacs from around the world, like sarsaparilla, eleuthero root and damiana. So get ready to fall in love – and we’re not just talking about the tea.

Ingredients: Cocoa nibs, black tea, white chocolate, licorice root, eleuthero, sarsaparilla, anise, strawberries, raspberry leaf, damiana, stevia.

I tried this as it was included in the travelling tea box I have in my possession and I’ve noticed in the past that it had decent reviews. I did not like this tea, so much so that I had to throw it out. I found the flavour to be very weak so I threw in another tea bag, big mistake! I didn’t know what the ingredients were but could tell immediately after the first sip there was stevia in it, and a lot of it. It was so sweet! The main flavours I got were strawberry and chocolate, but there was also a herbal flavour that left an awful taste in my mouth.

Bought a cup of this in store today. The liquorice and chocolate work well together, along with the strawberry to create an interesting flavour that hits over a few waves. The liquorice comes first, with a very strong and elixiry aftertaste that sits thick in the back of your mouth. An interesting and intoxicating cuppa for sure!

Great Canadian TTB and sipdown!! (157)

I tried the Love Elixer for Him and so I figured I should see the female counterpart. Both are strange, strange blends. Weirdly I am picking up on the white chocolate flavor, which I normally don’t notice, but I am also getting what is distinctly licorice. Moreover there are random herbs in the mix that make for a taste that is just off. It is definitely fun to try, especially as this is no longer available, but it is not a tea I am sad that I will never have again.

I really really liked this tea. It was so chocolatey it was like drinking a cup of hot chocolate, and tasted like strawberries dipped in chocolate. A great dessert-type tea
