Received few tea bags from my friend. She said drink it, or toss it out.
So, I am trying to drink. Elephant, actually it is a Lipton. But for French market it is “Elephant”. Dunno why. I guess it is better for me as a tea bag collector.
I tried to check some sources of ingredients, so I updated the factsheet of it. But actually I have no idea what is in.
Chamomile for sure, lavender too. But rest smells after cardboard. As derk said: “chamomile is chamomile, unless it is Lipton, then it is cardboard.”
Yep, it does not smell very nice. Rather stinks. Blah.
In taste it is little bit better. I notice bit of verbena + chamomile. Then little bit of lavender. Not long-lasting taste.
Hmm. At least it is worst tea today.
Flavors: Cardboard, Herbs, Lavender
That is quite a road trip. What a lovely reason to undertake it!
Thanks for a history lesson. Definitely very interesting and if I go to France one day, I will support them too with buying 1336 brand :)
What a neat history you found!
